There are pluses and minuses. Rent is affordable but there seems little sense of community among the adults. Most people seen nice enough, but there is no neighbor-like establishment. This is common in apartment complexes. Multicultural community, which I like. Laundry room recently renovated, and though I would much prefer to move to a unit that supports washer/dryer connections one has not been available recently in the older-style apartments I would prefer. Ongoing roof problems in my particular apartment are addressed as well as can be without major renovation, but the fact that I do have intermittent leaks is still a concern.

It like living in a very one big family. All of my neighbors have been awesome. If any of us need anything we are always there to help each other out. The Staff here are always friend and easy work with.

I love living there. I am single female and I work late at night at a college and come in at all different times of the night and have never felt unsafe. It is always quiet in the complex at night. The Staff is alway willing to assist you in any way they can. The grounds are kept clean and neat.

If you are looking for a nice, quiet place that isn't too much of a strain on your budget then Lakeshore Ridge is the place. With easy access to I-65, Greensprings Hwy, and 459 Lakeshore Ridge is pretty centrally located to all that Birmingham has to offer. However, because it is close to some office suites, afternoon traffic going towards I-65 and Greensprings, via Oxmore, can be a bit taxing.

I love the size of the apartments, the amenities are great, I feel very safe here, and the rent is very reasonable for the price. Its not even that bad of a drive to UAB. On top of all that, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier!!! I have been here 8 months, and I have nothing bad to say!! THANKS GUYS!! I don't know if I would tell them the following, but there was not another section for other comments/suggestions: I do wish the gym was bigger or had better equiptment, but its not bad. It needs to be kept a little cleaner though. Also, if you were considering it, a car wash would be great!

It is an enjoyable complex with management responsive to needs. There should be elimination of the online rental payment service charge. There are cars that have been parked with flat tires in the lots near building 6 for months that have not moved.
