Staying in a Phoenix apartment will provide an experience of living in one of the main arteries in the Southwestern United States. Phoenix was originally part of the New Mexico Territory after the Mexican–American War in 1848 and is located just a few hours from the current Mexico border. This creates a rich environment full of different cultures that residents embrace. With its exciting culture surroundings, the city continues to grow each year with more Phoenix apartments for rent being offered.

Many move to Phoenix for the generally nice climate throughout the year. The landscape of Phoenix is mostly flat with the Salt River running the western part of the city and mountains surrounding the valley. The weather gets very hot during the summer with milder winters with snow being a rarity. Phoenix benefits from its warm climate by doing well in the golf, tourism and outdoor recreation industries. Arizona State University is also in Phoenix and provides employment and educational opportunities to the area. Phoenix apartments are found near these areas of employment and industries.

Downtown Phoenix provides an art scene with museums and performing arts. In the Phoenix Civic Space is a lighted sculpture made of net hanging over two blocks that makes it so viewers can see the wind and its patterns. Something to take note is that Phoenix doesn’t follow daylight savings procedures. This could be an advantage to most people who are tired of switching times twice a year. Phoenix is unique in its ways because of its location and variety of people residing there. Colter Park is a good community. It is walking distance of restaurants, light rail, bus stops, grocery store, adequate parking in the rear of the property. The laundry facilities remain a problem. Washers are old and pricey compares to other complexes (free).

I am a new resident. The community seems really nice I do not have any complaints. Although, it is a minor inconvenience to have to wash at the community laundramat, it is always in good working order, and the facilities are well maintained. I actually enjoy leaving the apartment and washing at the laundry facilities provided. It is really cost cheap cost wise. Landscaping is always really well kept up. I have a really good renter's experience at this location. The ladies in the office are really nice and the best part is that they also provide you with a "business facility" availability during office hours. The residents even have a get together every so often to do activities.

Loved my apartment.Great location.Never had any problems with the office people and when something needed fixed it was fixed the same day or the following day Moved out and i will rent at Colter Park again.
