It's not in the safest or prettiest part area of Tucson, but once you're inside the gates of the apartment complex it feels secluded from this area of the city. It's quiet, pretty views from my 3rd floor balcony, wonderful pool/BBQ area and very clean and new laundry facilities. Little outdated and older-looking inside the apartment (cabinets, appliances, shower) , but fresh and clean. Very cool and unique window shutters and french doors. Pigeon problem is a challenge and I don't feel like my balconies are usable space due to that, unfortunately. They keep up on the landscaping very well, giving us pretty surroundings. Overall, I'm very happy here so far!

I would say that I like it and would encourage them to rent here. I like the location, the neighborhood, and the personnel working in the office. However, I would alert them that the complex doesn't have a place for the kids to play except for the two pools. I would also make them aware that the rent would go up every time he/she renew their lease. In addition, I would let them know that the complex is gated but the gate is not very effective and probably anyone can get in just as it happened the last month with 6 car break-ins. I will definitely let them know that the ceiling is very very thin and they can hear the steps of their upstairs neighbor if they live in the first floor and annoy their downstairs neighbors if they live in the second floor, let alone the smell of the pick-after-your-dong stand if they live close to one. Finally, compared to the other neighboring apartments, this complex would probably be ranked in the top 5 in Tucson.

The location is very nice, the rooms are spacious and comfy. However, if you have kids, there is no place for them to play. There are two pools and a spa that makes it up a little bit, but still. I would rather have one pool and a small playground for the kids and babies to play. Maintenance is good in general. Sometimes they are late but they eventually come and fix things.

My family has lived at La Paloma since 2004. Over the years we have had a couple issues come up with neighbors, the usual grumbles that happen in communities, but all in all our experience has been a good one. The only issue that I could say we have encountered alot is the problem with animal waste. The staff tries their best to control the situation, but owners of pets do not do their part. Maybe a stricter enforcement of pet size and number might help. I know that care is taken to keep families with Children located together, maybe the same could be done for families with "fluffy" kids. One thing since change over, was sad to see alot of the trees and bushes taken out, gave nice privacy and security especially by bedroom.

It's a great place to live. The location is great and it feels very safe. It is a nice quiet place.The management is extremely responsive and helpful. The pools and weight room are well maintained.

Its a good place to live at and very quiet at times. There are moments where it is very loud, loud music coming from the bottom loud noises from neighbors. The apartments do not reinforce rules regarding pool hours (people are there at all hours of the night) apartments do not reinforce no having barbeque grills people still have it out and grilling in plain sight which is discouraging that we are told it is strictly not allowed and people have it.
