Pittsburgh is a vibrant city with a rich culture. “The Steel City” is home to over 300,000 people working in jobs anywhere from healthcare to education and technology to financial services. It recently ranked 25th in the country for jobs in the urban core and 6th in job density. In fact, in 2008, amid the financial crisis that gripped the nation, Pittsburgh added jobs. With hundreds of tech companies and financial services, Pittsburgh boasts a robust economy. It also has a stable housing market. Pittsburgh has been called one of the safest cities in the US by Forbes. It’s crime rate is well below average.
