Someone did ask me one morning when I was coming in the front doors....I said "its great. Like living in a hotel kinda..sorta. The gentle interaction between onsite mgmt and the residence if "very concierge"...just enough..not too much.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! This building has to have the most misguided management direction and incomplete services that I have ever been in. Since moving here, even with notices for re-piping, the water is turned off randomly on days it's not supposed to be, This has been going on since Feb 2012 and they have NO END DATE when they will be finished. They put in new windows, added new apt numbers, signs and "City View" rugs, created a "living room" in the lobby but the carpets and walls are filthy with numerous stains, cracks and dirt and lights are out in hallways. There is an infestation of roaches, ants and mice. The parking is brutal around here and parking enforcement loves to ticket, it's right across from the L.A. School Board so they generally take all the parking. Your car is not safe on the streets, at least once a week, someones car is broken into. One of the main problems is they did all this cosmetic stuff but did not FIX THE INTERCOM, who wants to run downstairs every time someone visits or delivers, this is important and consistent with their management style. Beware potential tenants, they also want to CHARGE you exorbitant rent increases for new tenants plus you pay for your utilitarians. All in all, when my time is up, I am so out of here. The new owners are trying to push old tenants out so they can increase rent. For what they want to charge, you can live else where in a more modern building. There is nothing good I can say for manager, the lady, Anna, is barely communicative and NON helpful and maintenance is pretty much nonexistent, give them a repair notice and you might as well have flushed it, seriously. This building has historical value, you can tell my architectural details but the living conditions make it terrible. And today, the electricity is out for parts of the building. Again, they do cosmetic dressings but underneath it's not up to par. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!

Parking: During business hours, it is poor. Otherwise, it is wonderful. Noise: Some of my neighbors are very inconsiderate of the community. Since the new windows block out more sound than the old windows, then I would like management to tell loud tenants to shut all their windows when they are being loud. Needless to say, anyone can keep ones windows open if one is being considerate. Also I would like management to tell guardians to stop allowing their children to scream repeatedly at the pool. Finally, I would like management to prevent people from playing any sound equipment in the pool area because the pool area has a huge echo. Overall, most of of my neighbors are sound considerate. Unfortunately, it is the very few it ruins it for the majority. Construction: For cleanliness, I wished that all the hallways on the first floor had hard floors. Maintenance: Because of the re-piping, it takes a long time for a request to be finished.

Lived under a construction building and owners (Pacifica) not caring about tenants is what you get here. Building is under repiping, water is shut off from 9am-6pm & pipes are left sticking out the wall.oh and they take their time on covering those holes. Really! I work during the afternoon I couldn't take a shower before work, cant cook, or even take a S#!*. Wow. I was living on the 2nd floor and theres no elevator moving was hard .I was talking to a neighboor the other day and he had bedbugs, they made him pay for the service when thats building/owner responsibility. Its illegal! Dont ask for anything because they dont want to spend the money if they dont need too! I seen at least 5 tenants move because of how we get treated. If you consider moving to this apartment building, be aware! And this website says central heating? yeah right! WRONG! Parking is available for some $ and no street parking because its always full. Construction going on not good for a night person. Not recomended!

The property is a good size and not too big so you are able to enjoy the amenities without waiting for them to free up. Noise is not an issue because the buildings are made well. Maintenance is done in a timely manner and correct the first time. The unit square foot is excellent for the price.
