It’s a great time to be in a Denver apartment for rent as the city is growing with popular venues and activities. Denver is called the "Mile–High City" for its elevation being exactly one mile above sea level. With its high elevation, Denver’s landscape is rugged with more than 14,000 acres of mountain park lands. One of these popular parks includes the scenic Red Rocks Park that welcomes visitors each year and is known for the summer performances held at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Denver apartments for rent are throughout the city with most having great views of this mountain landscape.

During the winter, the rugged mountains of Denver become the heavenly snow slopes. Denver is known for its great ski seasons with the Winter Park Resort available just west of Denver. In the summer, Denver is an active outdoor city with many recreational activities offered such as hiking, kayaking, camping, skiing and snowboarding. Those who live in a Denver apartment most likely are out of their apartments during most of the year if they are actively involved with the outdoor services that the city provides.

When locals aren’t outside or in their Denver apartments, they are watching shows and performances in the beautiful Denver Performing Arts Complex or attending meetings and expos at the Colorado Convention Center. Locals also attend professional sporting venues like the Coors Field or Invesco Field at Mile High to cheer on their winning teams. The location is perfect and the apartments are newer compared to most others in the area so they are still much cleaner and nicer. I love the higher than standard ceilings and the floorplans are great. The garages are a nice touch, would be nice if one was included with the apartment since there is no covered parking. The only other downside is that It's a little bit pricey as you can find a comparable apartment for about 200 less per month.

great place to live !!! seems like alot of people using the pool either dont have access cards or dont live here and sneak in from the main lot. had a few instances of non crestone peeps in there !!! maint guys are hard working - great guys. ladies in the office are great !!!

Overall it is a pretty quiet community. The rent increases are disappointing and may affect how long one can live at Legend Oaks. The pool facility is small for the amount of residents but is usually a clean one. I like the apartment structures because you hear your neighbors less than you would expect for apartment living. I feel safer living here than in my past locations. The staff is friendly and so far I'm pleased with the maintenance staff as well.

I am bummed that the hot tub isn't going yet and the pool is freezing but the apartment is lovely and just has normal wear and tear. You can't barely hear the neighbors which is great. I wish the garage stalls were less expensive because $90 seems really crazy but it is clean, safe and friendly here. Hopefully the marshlands get cleaned up soon- I saw a wild turkey in the parking lot the other day, and that was interesting.

Thank you for your feedback! We are in the process of repairing the hot tub and it should be up and running in the next few weeks. We are also working with a contractor to clean up the pond area soon! As for the garages, we are currently running a garage sale until May 31st, 2012 for only $50 per month. Contact the leasing office directly if you are interested in one. Again, thanks for the feed back!

I would tell them it is a great location to all of what you need with all the amenities both inside and outside the "Flats". You are close proximity to anything you need. The management is friendly and professional. They are more than concerned about the well-being of their tenants. The people are friendly.
