Small friendly community with an organized and efficient manager. Property is well maintained, I haven't had any problems that required attention (ie.plumbing, AC)but feel sure that if i did, they would be handled efficiently. Overall quality of living is very good. The only proviso i would have is that there are a lot of dogs (am from CA, where leash law exists and is enforced, so takes getting used to).

I have lived here for about two months now and so far its been pretty good. I was scared to move into an apartment because of kids, noise and bugs. I have not seen any bugs in my apartment since I have been here. Yes there are kids but since the play ground and pool is in the front you don't hear them playing. The neighbors are super nice and friendly and everyone says hello to each other. The staff is friendly. When I need something to be fixed, the maintenance guy is there with in two days. I don't hear the neighbors at all. They do walk their dogs and you will see them come and go but the noise is pretty good and not even close to a complaint level. I think the place great is great so far.

It is very fortunate for me to find out this apartment. The location is perfect for us, walking distance from Marta station, marts, and churches. The rent is low but the facilities are not low at all. The staffs are kind.

I really like living here. Aside from being in a GREAT school district, I love the convenience of having just about any store/restaurant within walking distance, as well as Marta.

It is really a decent apartment. The location s perfect for us: near shopping malls and MARTA station. Our appartment was nicely renovated.

I love living at Hawthorne Gates. I've lived here for almost 2 years so far and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I feel very safe in my apartment, the location is awesome, and the staff are amazing. I haven't had too many maintenance issues since I've been here so far, and any that I've had I've always had someone over either the same day or the next day. I've had no bug problems yet *knock on wood* besides a few bees outside on the deck, but we're in Georgia so you're going to encounter bugs from time to time. And someone was over and sprayed right away after I reported them. I can honestly say it's the quietest place I've lived which is awesome. I don't ever hear any noise from neighbors, etc. Everyone is very friendly and it's a great place to live.

I would say that the apartment itself is very nice but the people who live here are very nosey. I have only been living at Hawthorne Gates for a few months and in this short time have had 2 encounters with the lady that lives below me and my roommate has aslo had an encounter with someone else who lives in the building. A few of our guests have also been harrassed by neighbors. I think if your a young adult between the ages of 18-35 I would say this is not the apartment complex you want to live in only because people are very nosey and try to be too concerned with other people's business.

It's a clean community located near all the major highways, malls, stores, restaurants, etc. While the prices may be a bit high I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for.
