Location is very convenient if one works in/around River North; eight-minute walk down Kinzie and infinitely quieter. Building is new, well-built, and well-appointed. Pool deck and grills are great and building staff are very friendly.

I've lived in Habitat properties before, and I could tell walking in through the door the first time that these properties were professionally run, by people who know how to treat the residents.

I would tell them that most of the front staff is very rude and inconsiderate and that the old management company was alot friendlier. I would tell them that i can hear every single one of my neighbors since the walls are paper thin and the front doors to the apartments all slam super hard. also the management always come off to me like they just dont care whenever I have a concern and they are not willing to fix it. I would not say that Fordham Glen is a fun place to live or relax. Also all the features that they show you in the model....you wont really get that stuff at all like they said they would. We have been told nothing but lies since living here and rent is not on the lower end for having to deal with all this.

New management company is horrible. They turned off the heaters that used to be inside every building when you walked in. It is so cold in these buildings that you don't want to open your door because you will lose all the heat in your apartment. Their customer service is horrible. the girls in the office have no accountability. They will tell you they will do something and then days later, it is still not done and their boss, Tanya, does not care, either. The maintenance guys are good. Overall, spend your money elsewhere. The windows are drafty, the noise levels are bad, and there is a lot of crime. Don't let the picture on the websites fool you. And there is dog poop all over the place! Terrible.
