Location is very convenient if one works in/around River North; eight-minute walk down Kinzie and infinitely quieter. Building is new, well-built, and well-appointed. Pool deck and grills are great and building staff are very friendly.

I'd tell them it's pretty good, although the building is very young and acts the part sometimes. That being said, my neighbors are pretty quiet, and even if they do play loud music it's off or turned down by 9 at night. There are plenty of conveniences right here in the building, from the dry cleaning downstairs to washer/dryers in each apartment to the full fitness center on the eighth floor. Oh, and there's a coffee machine down there, too :) You need a ZipCar? There's one right downstairs or nearby at Jewel/Osco. You take public transportation? We're in walking distance to four lines (Brown, Pink/Green and Blue). Like I said, modern and convenient. Pretty good place to live.

This place is great. Very spacious apartments with a great patio area. The people who work here are very helpful and nice. I've made some nice connections with residents as well. Rent is a little higher then I would like.

I stay in the third floor of Yorkshire and the noise from roof AC noise was terrible. Inspite of repeated complaints,the issue is not resolved (till today). They blindly installed noise filters and It did not help. I asked them to have someone to look at it on a weekend when AC is running, they said they will send somebody. But it never happened. It is difficult to sleep during nights with the noise. Once I posted a maintenance request at their portal at 1:00am in the morning. These people are pathetic in identifying and fixing the issues. If it is simple, they will do a great job, if something like this happens, they are clueless. As long there are no issues, nice place to settle in, if some problem occurs..then you have to wait to get itself resolved :)

I have been living at the International Village - Lombard since 2008 and it has become my home. The office staff is more than helpful, the maintenance staff is available 24 hours a day which is nice and the new clubhouse is amazing. This started out to be just a temporary place to stay but has turned into my home and i do not see myself leaving anytime soon because this place truly does have it all. The International Village is hands down the BEST place to live. Take it from me, I live here :)

It is a relatively clean, friendly place to live. It is less expensive than comparable apartment communities in the area. The amenities like the pool, and fitness room are nice. I am generally pleased with living here.

That they aren't just any apt. complex. They care about their residents, it is safe, clean, kept up and nothing is put up. IE. kids in halls, garbage, doors not wedged open, etc. The staff, from management to maintenance, to grounds keepers are respectful, professional, and pleasant. A very peaceful and nice place to live.

Quiet (for the most part), Clean, Safe. Denise Lawson, the manager is always ready to listen. She's concerned and caring about the well being of the tenants. She constantly patrols the grounds (on foot) and personally looks into complaints. Sherrie Keller is an employee of excellence. She is a great member of the management team. I have NEVER had an issue that wasn't resolved by either of these two ladies in a timely manner. Because of them, I will probably stay at Green Oaks until I retire!

I've been here for 4 years and have NO major complaints. Most issues are solved quickly and management LISTENS when concerns are brought to them.
