I lived their for a year and i really liked it other than fact that the ppl that lived below always complained i was loud. 80 % of the time i was alone. My neighbor below me called the cops on me @ 2.30 in the afternoon because i was being too loud ( I was cleaning my house) Hello ! its an apartment and they are not sound proof ... I lived on the 2nd floor. So i bought a house thats the reason i moved

I would recommend it. I would tell them that like any place else, you have some bad eggs in the complex. However, for the most part everyone is nice and polite and picks up after them selves. The only bad thing is that some people are too lazy to walk and put their trash in the compactor and will not attend to their pets properly, ie., keeping them on the leash ( still not being done at all) and picking up after their pet ( still not being done at all).

It is relatively quiet for an apartment complex and the staff is very nice and helpful. The grounds and facility are kept clean and in working condition.

Bayou Shadows is a great place to live! It is conveniently located to many things in Lafayette. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The only negative thing I would say is that there is not enough storage space for me. I have a lot of things, though, I just wish there was an out door closet or storage area for each apartment. Other than that, I love living here!

When you walk or drive onto the grounds, it is so picturesque you would swear you are on a movie or television studio set. The lakes and the trees, the parallel parking and the gorgeously designed buildings make theIP (my nickname for it) look cozy and contemporary. The club house, pool side and gym are so exclusive! theIP makes it to where you are in a resort-style environment even when you are at the mail atrium (another nickname). The walking trail is beautiful and so peaceful. The people are so nice from the head honcha down to the neighbors. Also, with the new casino coming up across the street, and Gardere getting cleaned up, it's the perfect place to be! TheIP is all about making the residents feel like you are a part of the community. The crawfish boil, the group parties... man it's like a cruise without the water. If you move here, WELCOME HOME!!!!

This place is growing and it is beautiful. You would be a fool to pass this place up. Not to mention everyone in the office is professional and really nice. SOme of the best people in Baton Rouge. Very accessible to Perkins Rowe and Mall of Louisiana and Segian Lane. The transition to city has been so much easier because I live here.

During the week, it's like any other place. The smell may get overwhelming, but it's liveable. On the weekends, it's party central; there's no sleeping around this place, much action!
