That it's close to so much going on in Detroit. That the rooms are pretty quiet...many of the apt walls are solid concrete, that balconies are great to hang out on and that it's nice to have parking and grocery store right on the property...

The staff is very friendly, especially when you get to know them. I love that its solid concrete, because I cant hear a thing from any neighbors. There are no really big complaints, except that the outlets are all two prong, and there is no range vent (which I just cant understand). Everything else is fine, but get a parking spot as soon as you can.

Come be my neighbor! I've only been here a short time, but I love it. The amenities are beyond awesome. The staff is helpful and professional. The rooms are beautiful. And this is probably the nicest place I've lived in the D! Great location too! Walking distance from Greektown, Eastern Market, the Dequinder cut, Ford field. Everything is in your backyard! Plus, nothings better than an apartment that serves donuts and coffee every Friday before work!!!!! The only con is the guest parking lot. It's small and normally full. If you're planning a party, you might have to have your guest park outside the gate.

The Pavillion is a good place to reside, but you have to limit your guests because visitor parking is the worst.

It feels like home! I've lived here for almost 5 years, and I'm in my third apartment (there are so many styles and floorplans to choose from). I've loved all of my apartments, but the one I'm in now is my favorite and I can't imagine moving. My grandkids love the pool, the fitness center has everything you need to stay in shape, and is open 24 hours. I am able to have my dog, Brownie, a beagle mix dog that I rescued from the animal shelter, and he makes me feel even more secure than I already feel in these surroundings. My only negative experience involves my current neighbor, who doesn't like my dog (it's mutual) and actually called the office to complain about him, with a completely bogus (fictitious) account of Brownie "terrorizing" him. But, the office manager handled the situation well, which is typical of the Preserves excellent management style. And, it doesn't matter where you live, you'll run into people like my neighbor, so I don't hold that against the Preserves! Finding enough parking spaces when you have a family gathering can be a hassle, but that is the only shortcoming I see.

its in a good location, its quit it has vary nice amenities close by. neighbor's are friendly and supportive. it can use some updating, but it has great water pressure in nothing is fallen apart .
