The apartments are spacious. Maintenance personnel respond extremely quick. If you have a choice, choose Springbrook Meadows.

I'll tell them they couldn't find a better place. Staff is very nice. Sometimes I feel sorry for them when I see a few tenants coming to the office with an attitute. They are too nice! Apartments are in great conditions, gym is great, there is a tanning bed and club house. There is also W/D in each apartment! No trip to the Laundry Mat! Whoopi!

Living at Woodland Lakes is pretty expensive, for apartment living...especially if you're trying to make ends meet as best as possible in this economy. Living as a single parent, trying to raise my child in a safe environment is difficult at the moment, but I have to press on for the sake and safety of my child. I need for my child to feel safe and secure in our living environment. Woodland Lakes offers the peace of mind that I look for when it comes to my child. However, it is quite expensive and I fear I may not last here past this lease contract. I love just about everything at Woodland Lakes Apts! Asides from the occassional super-noisy neighbor [which, as of late, has been pretty quiet & I am grateful for as our bedrooms are next to each other], Woodland Lakes Apts has beautiful grounds-keeping, an excellent & efficient Maintenance Staff and a wonderful front Office Staff! I love living here and will be sad when my lease is up to have to move out! It is within 'reach' of everything from grocery stores, to schools, to the freeway! (=

Parking - Usually very good after getting back from work or from the market. My only complaint: would be that there seems to be an abandoned car right in front of our apartment door. It would be great to have that space!! It never moves and when I had last checked, all the tires were flat. Noise - Nice and quiet. Can sometimes hear neighbor's mumbled speech through the connected wall, but not bad at all and not noticeable in any other room. Grounds - Excellent. Very nicely kept. Clean layout. Clubhouse is great. Workout room is great. Safety - Excellent. Well lit in all areas. Good area. Construction - Overall, great. Great layout. Maintenance - Great maintenance staff. Very fast and courteous service. Staff - Everyone is very courteous and attentive to all needs. Jim is awesome. Overall: Great place to live. I recommend it for anyone who is considering Woodland Lakes. Although the address city is Lansing, this area is considered outside city limits, so no Lansing taxes. Easy access to shopping centers close by.

So for I am so very pleased with Lakestone and my apartment. My apartment was perfectly prepared unpon move in. Maintenance has been excellent and fast. Office staff is alway nice and attentive. I am so happy I chose Lakestone for my new home.

First, the location can't be beat...second, it's always well-manicured and landscaped, the amenities are terrific, and the apartments/townhouses are in really great shape. Good maintenance. really friendly front office..and they allow dogs! Football saturdays rock, since this entire complex becomes an extension of the parking lots for the stadium -- and because of the adjacent park, ti's tailgate-city for those events. You either beat them or join them -- I choose to join them and love living so close to the stadium. I have lived here 2.5 years and don't plan to move anytime soon...I love it here. The only time I have had any problem at all (with noisy stereo-blasting college kid neighbors) the management took care of the problem right away. This is a great place to live...and while there are lots of graduate students from UM who live here, the complex really is geared toward adults and families which is refreshing in a college town.
