Wonderful! The apartments are beautiful, the rooms are large, the washer and dryer facility inside the aprartment is such a terrific amenity (not needing to go to a public Laundromat). The grounds are maintained meticulously, the pool and gym facilities are great, the dog park is great as it allows my dog to run free for a while, the maintenance personnel are responsive and the entire Vista Point staff have been nothing but helpful, kind and courteous.

My friends and family have asked me how do I like living in Vista Point, my response to them has been that "I like it very much" . The office staff along with the maintenance staff have been great. I feel very welcome here from the first day I moved in.

I would tell them that it is an amazing place to live. The unit I live in, which is a one bedroom with a loft, actually feels more like a town home than an apartment. All the rooms are extremely spacey, especially thanks to the lofted ceiling and all the windows. The windows brighten up the rooms so much. For example, my last apartment had only 3 double windows; however, my Vista Point apartment has like a dozen! Another benefit to living here is that the apartments provide individual units with great appliances. When I was apartment hunting, most apartment complexes only had community washer and dryers, an no hook-ups for someone who had their own washer/dryer. At my prior apartment, I had my own washer and dryer. Thanks to Vista Point, I was able to give my washer/dryer to my parents since they needed one and I still don't have to go to a community laundry room, which I strongly dislike. I'm not a huge fan of rugs because my last apartment had pristine white rugs that go so so so dirty. These rugs at Vista Point are just so easy to maintain and their off-white color makes it less obvious in high traffic areas. Everything from the remarkable staircases, the wall tints, the expansive rooms, the many and strategically placed windows and rooms, to the kitchen and bathroom counter tops make the Vista Point apartment units feel like a place I could see myself living for the entire time my husband and I are stationed at West Point.

It's like living in a premium hotel. Although there are other places in the area at comparable prices, I'd be hard pressed to find a place that offered all the amenities, plus attention to detail and a level of cleanliness that is quite impressive. The staff at Lincoln Properties are thoughtful and communicative.

I would tell them that I love my apartment, the building, the grounds and the staff is great. I would also tell them that I seldom hear any noise from neighbors (just the occasional footfalls from upstairs neighbors) which lends to a feeling of privacy and personal space. I would tell them that I love living here and am proud to have people over. However, I would also tell them that there are an inordinate number of fire alarms with calls to evacuate - usually in the middle of the night. This week there have been two, once at about 2:50am on a VERY cold night and tonight shortly after 9:30pm. Since moving in at the end of August last year there have been 4-5 alarms. None of them were the result of a fire fortunately, but I can't help but wonder if the sprinkler pipes are faulty which makes me wonder what good they would be if there really was a fire. I don't feel safe and at the moment am on edge wondering when the next alarm will come. My mother has a heart condition and spinal stenosis which makes the evacuation procedure, walking down numerous flights of stairs and standing out in the cold, very painful and difficult for her, not to mention potentially harmful. We certainly won't ignore the alarms just in case it ever is a fire, but knowing that she ends up in pain needlessly is more than frustrating. A month ago I would have had nothing but glowing remarks about life here at Merritt River, but at the moment, that is certainly not the case. I am in the Property Management business so I know things happen beyond our control but it is because I have experience in this industry that I also know that when a problem becomes chronic, it's time to do more than just put a band aid on the problem. I have higher expectations from a property as nice and new as this one and am seriously disappointed and discouraged. THAT is what I will share when asked until I see a change.

Comfy, well maintained building. Some things are inconvenient -- namely the gross size of the building. Having to bring recyclables literally two city blocks to dispose is just not convenient. Although the building is relatively modern, some of the original fixtures and appliances are starting to show some wear and tear. The apartments are relatively quiet. The gym is small, but nice. Parking is very convenient. Accessible to major roads.
