Two of the best parts of this complex are the manager (Michelle) and the maintenance guy (Leo). Michelle is kind and cheerful, with a warm greeting and sunny disposition that'll melt your heart. But she's not just fluff or window dressing like a lot of other managers try to get away with; she knows her stuff too. She's very well organized, extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and has excellent people skills. Unlike all of my past apartments where you avoided the manager's office like it was the principal's office in high school (often for the same reasons), the manager's office at Oakmont is warm and friendly. You actually look forward to receiving packages just for the chance to stop by and chat sometimes. Leo is a craftsman in every sense of the word. The guy puts out quality like I've never seen from any property management company before. There's no "slap it together and hope it holds until the next guy moves in" from Leo. He does maintenance like he lives here and that kind of care counts because it makes it feel more like a home than an apartment. To give you an example, Leo just installed a new shelf for me. That's definitely NOT something that could be considered "necessary" maintenance, which few other property management companies would even bother doing. Not only did he address it quickly, but he did it with a higher skill and quality level than the people that originally built the place. In other words, he doesn't just "maintain" this place, he improves it. Together, Michelle and Leo make this an awesome place to live. HIGHLY recommended.

Quiet and safe residence. Grounds are always maintained. Always well lit. An abundance of parking. Great for raising small children.

The community is centrally located off of Murray, and provides access to a diverse list of restaurants, shopping venues, exercise gyms, and community resources like parks and library. The management staff is very kind and promptly responds to all work requests. There is ample parking, and I have never had to stress about break-ins or suspicious characters loitering in the community. I love it, and just re-signed for another 2 years.

The management gets back to you immediately when you have an issue. They are friendly and helpful. The same can be said for maintenance . I have lived in many apartment complexes and this is by far the best!

I have lived in 1 duplex and 3 other apartments since I sold my family home after my children moved. This apartment was absolutely sparkling clean when I first saw it. I was amazed!! I think our management team of Jotika and Celeste are magnificent. They work extremely well together and are great with the public. All the tenants that I have ever spoken to love them as do I. They take their jobs seriously and handle problems as the professionals they are when they they arise. I would be remiss if I didn't say that Kelsey was the best maintenance man I have ever dealt with. He is extremely likeable and does a professional job at everything he touches. He is very prompt to respond to residents need. All maintenance requests are done ASAP. The grounds are beautiful thanks to Kelsey and the gardeners. I have now lived here over a year and unless I'm forced to move because I can't afford to stay with my fixed income when the rent is raised, I plan to stay as long as I'm able because this is a truly great home.
