Overall, I am satisfied. I
have been in two apartments on
the Verandas, and here are
some notes:
1) Both apartments are ground
floor. I rarely heard any
noise from above in my first
one. I hear loud crunching
sounds in my current one, as
if the room above me has
hardwood floors or no carpet.
Footsteps above me are easily
heard.
2) Fixtures, etc. are fixed
as needed. In my first
apartment, I'm sure the
thermostat was the original
one. I think Verandas should
replace such items on a
schedule and not wait until
they break. The toilets are
old and could be more
water-efficient.
3) I liked the recycle option
and was disappointed when it
went away.

I just wanted to let you know
that we will be starting an
in-house recycling program
next month. Unfortunately,
when the city stopped doing
commercial waste disposal, we
were not able to find another
trash service that would do
recycling. We are pleased to
announce that we will be
starting a new program though.
You will find a bulletin on
your door in the next few
weeks announcing the new
Recycling Program!
