Cantebria Crossing is a pleasant, comfortable and convenient place to live. Your own water heater and washing machine/dryer make it feel more like a house than an apartment. Our area is nice and quiet most of the time and parking is never a problem. I feel this is also a safe community as there is often police presence driving through. The maintenance staff is always polite and does do their best to take care of your needs as quickly as possible.

We enjoy living here very much, always look forward to coming home. We have quiet neighbors for the most part and the staff has always been courteous and does their best to assist when they can. Safety also seems to be high priority as there are often police in the area checking up on things. We feel safe walking around the complex, or the block. One of the highlights is also the washer and dryer which come with every apartment. Parking is never a problem.

The only compromise in living here compared to our last home is the bathroom quality. The tubs are tiny and the rooms are generally sparse. Also I had to get rid of my grill due to their restrictions on those. The walls are a little thin, we here our neighbor's kids above all night long running around, but I don't blame them. In every other regard I love this place. Even the maintenance staff is friendly (something I've never had before), particularly Mike who always takes time to talk to and pet our dog. The rates are reasonable, they are very pet friendly, and so far I haven't felt condescended to when I need an issue resolved.

I HAVE told people that Parkside on the Creek is the perfect place to call home. While working out one morning (in our fitness facility), a newer resident shared with me the fact that he almost made the decision to move to the Centreport area rather than here. I shared with him that I moved from there to here rather recently and that he made the right decision in choosing Parkside. This facility is newer, cleaner, better maintained, quieter and has much more nature around! A person feels compelled to be outside exploring, walking, "dog parking" and meeting neighbors. This community is refreshing in the fact that it is less sprawling than most. The office staff knows you by name rather than apartment number. It is also conveniently located close to several expressways. The ONLY thing frustrating about living here is the lack of available unassigned parking!

The buildings are old and need some up-dating ( some of the outside lights are not working). The cabinet doors look like a dog has chewed the bottoms. It would be great to have pocket doors for the laundry area. It is noisy in the whole apartment when you are doing laundry. Everyone is nice to deal with (office) and maintenance is great (Dante). It is fairly quiet for an apartment and the closet space is great. I have covered parking close to my apartment and that is great. They keep the complex clean and neat and trash is hauled off in a timely fashion. As far as I know, there has not been any major problems since I moved in the last of October.

Quiet neighborhood and a great staff to get along with. I like the easy access to the gym and no problems with neighbors. I really enjoy the scenerie and the units are homely and not appatment like and the garden tubs with jets are cool.

The convenience of living downtown and being within walking distance of various forms of entertainment, restaurants and shopping. In addition, the leasing manager/agents and tenants are like one big family. Everyone knows your name, maintenance requests are completed timely and the Cares staff let us know what activities are going on monthly. Simply, 925 is a wonderful place to live.

Living in apartments is different to say the least. Neighbors are closer in distance but not necessarily in friendliness. Lots of turnover, especially in the 'corporate' apts.

My husband and I sold our house and were dreading renting an apartment again while we figured out where we wanted to go and we promised it would only be a year because we know what apartment living is like and we knew we wouldn’t be able to handle it however...if they had wood floors, and a little bit more storage closets we would live her forever and forget about buying another house. The office staff is probably the nicest people I have met in a long time...truly nice, genuine, and not like the rest...we have looked at a lot of apts and you either get the fake smiles and “everything is wonderful at our apts” or you get the ones that it is just my job & I leave at 5 so just hurry up...the staff are wonderful and I can’t say enough about them. We wanted a place that was nice inside and out, clean, quite, a nice view, good lay out, enough room, a nice porch, and even the stuff you don’t think about...light fixtures, ceiling fans, arches, upgraded doors, cabinets, pretty door knobs...it makes a huge difference. I am proud to have friends over b/c I don’t hear my neighbors ever actually...which I guess could be weird. The neighbors we do have are so nice and just a different class of people; we have even had a couple of them over for dinner just b/c they are so nice in passing. My husband and I said we would pay extra to make sure there aren’t clunker cars, trash everywhere, and not to have teenagers partying at all hours of the night...but to be honest we haven’t had to pay that much extra. The only downfall is I wish it had more storage coming from a house and I wish it had wood floors...other than that...it’s perfect.

I haven't lived in apartment for 20 years and was very hesitant to do so again. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I visited Avington Park and even more pleased after I moved in! I love that the quality of the apartment is above average and the decor is top notch. The fact that the complex is small and the agents, maintenance and on-site police officer know everyone by name is a definite perk! In general, the people renting at this complex are older, wiser and more respectful of others! I've never had a problem with noise or trash or "inappropriate behavior". Perfect for adults, but suitable for children too. I disagree with the "paper thin walls" comment from a previous poster. I never hear my neighbors and I doubt they ever hear me!
