The buildings are old and need some up-dating ( some of the outside lights are not working). The cabinet doors look like a dog has chewed the bottoms. It would be great to have pocket doors for the laundry area. It is noisy in the whole apartment when you are doing laundry. Everyone is nice to deal with (office) and maintenance is great (Dante). It is fairly quiet for an apartment and the closet space is great. I have covered parking close to my apartment and that is great. They keep the complex clean and neat and trash is hauled off in a timely fashion. As far as I know, there has not been any major problems since I moved in the last of October.

I like living here because it is close to school and easy to get downtown without taking University because Forest Park is right there. It is next to the train, but you can get used to it, and I feel like every apartment complex is next to a train or you can hear it for the most part. I don't really like that we can't select a time frame for maintenance to come because I would rather be there when they come in my apartment, so if it was possible to do this that would be really nice. Maintenance is done fairly quickly though. There is only one time where I did not have it done within 1-2 days and that is because they had to specially order a part. It is through a nice neighborhood though, and is very well lit at night, especially the hallways! And the hallways also have fans which is nice when it is hot. The workers are all very nice and helpful.

The staff is very attentive to resident needs, the apartments are a great size for the price, the only problem is the random times ive been woken up by maintenance on my days of from work. Overall i like living here though. I wish there was a way to set up automatic payment for the full amount of the bill each month, as of now there is only a set payment amount which is wrong since the water and trash bill/fee are not set amounts.

Definitely for the younger crowd, but it's nice. The weekends get loud. Thursday-Saturday night hopefully you aren't trying to go to bed early b/c the college group is getting ready to go out, but overall it isn't bad. The new speed bumps help w/the reckless drivers. The staff is great with the little extras that they do. I came from a Lincoln Property and they did some things, but not all of the out of the way items that the Berkeley does-it is appreciated! I have a feeling it will be more than I'm wanting to pay when my lease comes back around, but for now I am enjoying living here!

I HAVE told people that Parkside on the Creek is the perfect place to call home. While working out one morning (in our fitness facility), a newer resident shared with me the fact that he almost made the decision to move to the Centreport area rather than here. I shared with him that I moved from there to here rather recently and that he made the right decision in choosing Parkside. This facility is newer, cleaner, better maintained, quieter and has much more nature around! A person feels compelled to be outside exploring, walking, "dog parking" and meeting neighbors. This community is refreshing in the fact that it is less sprawling than most. The office staff knows you by name rather than apartment number. It is also conveniently located close to several expressways. The ONLY thing frustrating about living here is the lack of available unassigned parking!

It is peaceful and quiet....very little noise...I rarely even notice the trains. The grounds are always clean and the pool is almost always open during the summer. Maintenance takes care of problems quickly and efficiently. Office staff is always friendly and make me feel like they know me when I come in. I only wish I had a patio and extra storage closet, but I know it's because I'm in a smaller unit. I'm ready for construction to be done because I want parking spaces again....but i don't hear them as much lately as I did when they first started!

Rate service at 5. Never had a problem with management and maintenance response to problems. Water rate is kinda high otherwise it is an excellent place to live. Thanks, John Carson

Best place around, without doubt. Might be a little more expensive than others around, but my feeling is and always has been, "you get what you pay for".
