I would tell them that this is a great location to live at. Overall, the staff has been accommodating for my needs and understanding of my issues I have. The apartment I am living at has some issues regarding structural integrity and various small things that were not working upon move in, but I would tell anyone to check their apartment over and they will fix it in due time. I would also explain how close we are to everything needed in my life. Fifteen minutes from the beach, ten minutes from needed shopping, fifteen minutes from Whole Foods Market and there is more to discover every day. They are even working with me about the upstairs neighbors being loud, even though it is not their fault. It is due to structural problems and upon their move out, we as a team are going to attempt to fix the issue. They even fixed my antiquated washer and dryer, although it took a bit of reminder every few days. This really made my experience better. The energy efficiency will be a great savings. Overall, I have already told at least three people who are looking seriously for apartments to consider Pelican Watch.

I've lived here at Pelican Watch for about 3 years now and can't imagine a place I'd rather be. We have had wonderful neighbors throughout our stay and we absolutely love our apartment! Having a gym and pool is great! But one of the best things is having a washer and dryer in the apartment! No more laundromat with endless quarters! Another great thing about Pelican Watch is living so close to all of the shopping areas and having the college right next door. You'll love living here!

I've lived here for a year now and I have enjoyed everything so far. Patrick and Mark the maintenance men always come on time when things need to be fixed. Kim, the office manager, and Susan are very attentive her and her staff are always very nice and always have great customer service. The area is in a great location. Across from Tidewater Community College and close to Farm Fresh and Walmart. After down grading from a 3 bedroom house Pelican Watch is a perfect match. I was able to use all of my furniture and this area overall is great. I haven't used all the amenities yet but I look forward to using the tennis court and the pool this summer. I have got great comments from my friends about the size of the rooms and location. I've never had any problems with my neighbors. People here are very friendly here. Happy Holidays!! It's a good complex that's in the best part of the Newport News area. The living accommodations are great however I wold be honest enough to say that it may not be a place for children if you're looking for playgrounds and parks within walking distance. The staff is A1 and looks out the residents best interest through thier prompt and outstanding service.

It's a nice, quiet community, perfectly situated near the hub of activity in Newport News. Shopping - whether it's grocery or clothing - are all located within 5 minutes away. The apartment itself (1BDR/1BA) is what we need, and its comfy year-long. The staff are friendly, the groundskeepers really take care of the place, and we've had very few complaints. We love it!
