I have lived here for seven years ( in two different apartment buildings) and have had a good experience. Karen and the maintenance guys are awesome- always helpful and available. The location of these apartments are amazing!!! The price of them are very reasonable. I hardly ever heard my neighbors but they were always friendly in passing. I had a fireplace in my apt and looooved it ( a must!!). The only thing I wish that could be changed would be upgraded cabinets and better insulation in the walls/glass.

I appreciate very much the friendly, courteous staff in the rental office and maintenance. Maintenance staff have responded promptly to fix maintenance problems within the apartment.

Maintenance has been very responsive to requests. Fitness center lighting problem was corrected expeditiously. Front entrance gate has been pinned open, which now facilitates prompt, unhampered access to the complex. Overgrown ornamental grass, which had posed a major traffic hazard has been trimmed down. Contractors are repairing, cleaning and repainting exterior trim and siding, which had grown moldy, mildewy and rotten over at least the past two years. This place is looking sharp again!

We've been here for two years and just renewed for our third. Pros: It's a comfortable place to live. It is nicely landscaped, utilities included in the rent mean no hassle, customer service is responsive and maintenance issues are handled promptly. The maintenance guys are super nice as well. Although the gym is small-ish, there are always available machines to work out. Cons, there are some undergrads, but the place is surprisingly quiet. We did have our car vandalized (back window smashed in), but apparently that had happened to several people in the Fry's Spring area as well. One of our neighbors chain smoked outside his apartment, so the outside hallway often smells of smoke. Overall, small things. We'll probably stay here for another two or three years, until we move out of Charlottesville.

Living to have the peace of mind to live in a community where you are only responsible for your room. Provides you with a good place to live with plenty of amenties. I had a great experience with my roommates as well. By far the best value. The shuttle and clubhouse are great. An important thing though is to make sure to get to know your roommaets before you move in so you can have a great roommate match like me.

We really like the grounds which are very dog friendly. The staff and other residents are friendly. It is conveniently located to shopping and resturants.

The administrator is nice and of much helpful. The living environment is good. If the windows are sealed better, the electricity bill could be lowered down. The other issue is there is too much bullshit in the grassland.
